Master the fundamentals of nordic skate skiing with our most personalized lesson option.

This lesson is geared towards the new to nordic skiers.
We’ll cover essential skate skiing techniques including the skate stride, double pole and skate/pole use and timing, and efficient weight transfer.

The lesson takes place on SSTC’s perfectly groomed skate trail, providing ideal conditions for learning. Our trail system offers gentle beginner terrain as well as more challenging hills for skill development.

Your trail ticket is FREE when taking a lesson, rentals are available onsite for an aditional charge. If you own your own equpiment and would like to take a lesson using your gear we are happy to help you with waxing reccomdations. PLEASE ARRIVE 15 MINUTES EARLY.

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

If you have your own equipment you may certainly use it. Otherwise we have equipment for rent.

What should I wear?

We recommend you dress in more thin layers rather then a few thick layers. You will get warm! We are in the mountains, bring your sunscreen!

Do I need a helmet?

No, you do not need to bring a helmet but if you feel most comforable wearing a helmet please feel free to bring it.

If I rent skis do I need a Trail Pass?

Yes, if you will be using any of our trail system you will need a trail pass.
