The Sanctuary Homeowner Pass provides exclusive season-long access to the groomed Nordic trails at the Steamboat Ski Touring Center (SSTC). Available only to homeowners within the Sanctuary neighborhood, this pass offers the convenience of unlimited skiing on beautifully maintained classic and skate-ski trails just steps from home.

Enjoy a variety of loops, peaceful forested terrain, and consistently groomed tracks throughout the winter season. Whether you’re out for daily fitness laps or relaxed afternoon skis, the Sanctuary Homeowner Pass gives you full access to the SSTC trail system all winter long.

This pass is valid exclusively for cross-country skiing at the Steamboat Ski Touring Center. It is not transferable and expires at the end of the current winter season.

After a challenging winter, we’ve officially closed trails for the season at both Haymaker Nordic Center and Steamboat Ski Touring Center. However, Steamboat Ski Touring Center will remain open daily from 9:00 AM – 4:00 PM for: End-of-season sales Equipment Service Seasonal Rental Returns $10/pair Storage Wax & FREE Scrape in the fall! And in true nordic-center fashion… we made too many cookies. 😊 Stop by and grab a take-and-bake cookie bag while supplies last! Thank you all for your support this winter. Cancellation Policy

Pickup time starts at 9AM
3. We will close at noon on 12/24, Christmas Eve.
4. We will reopen 9am on 12/25. We will be open all day 12/25.

*We are happy to offer a full refund if canceled 48+ hours in advance. If canceled less then 24 hours no refund will be given. Thank you!**

Season pass policies

All season passes expire at the end of the current winter season and do not transfer to the next season. Passes are non-transferable and may only be used by the passholder. A full refund is available before the season begins. Once the season starts, passes are non-refundable. To request a cancellation, please call or email us. Must provide proof of Sanctuary Home or Lot ownership.

Everything you need to know about our nordic ski lessons

Do I need to bring my own equipment?

If you have your own equipment you may certainly use it. Otherwise we have equipment for rent.

What should I wear?

We recommend you dress in more thin layers rather then a few thick layers. You will get warm! We are in the mountains, bring your sunscreen!

Do I need a helmet?

No, you do not need to bring a helmet but if you feel most comforable wearing a helmet please feel free to bring it.

If I rent skis do I need a Trail Pass?

Yes, if you will be using any of our trail system you will need a trail pass.
