Rabbit Ears Pass

$215/person

Located at 10,000 feet in the Routt National Forest  offering trail options for skiing or snowshoeing for a backcountry experience. Depending on your ability level we can ski or snowshoe trails that offer rolling hills, large trees, beautiful views, and as much challenge as you would like. We tailor a backcountry experience to you and your level of fitness and ability.

  • West Summit Loop: 3.7 miles or shorter distance, moderate difficulty.
  • Bruce’s Trail: up to 3 miles in length, easy to moderate difficulty.
  • North Walton Peak: 3 miles, moderate difficulty. This is a popular route for telemark skiing with a fun bowl to ski and great views. Best on metal edged skis

Fish Creek Falls

$215/person

Fish Creek Falls is close to Steamboat Springs and lower in elevation than Rabbit Ears Pass. It offers great views of Fish Creek Canyon and the large frozen waterfall.   Length of trip is as little as 1 mile, and up to 5 miles. Level of difficulty is easy to moderate depending on how far you want to go. *Please note: Fish Creek Falls is a snowshoe tour only* ** We require 2 weeks notice for back-country tours!** Steamboat Ski Touring Center is a permittee of the Medicine Bow National Forest, an equal opportunity service employer.
